AMBASSADOR B. BOLORMAA MEETS WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE CZECH FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER ASSOCIATION
On 21 August 2026, while attending the international STYL & KABO trade fairs in Brno, Ambassador B. Bolormaa met with Kateřina Horáková, Director of the Czech Footwear and Leather Association (ČOKA).
The parties exchanged views on the production and export potential of Mongolian products. They discussed opportunities to facilitate the participation of Mongolian footwear and leather goods manufacturers in STYL & KABO, connect them with the Czech and wider Central European markets, promote their products and organize business meetings.
The parties expressed their interest in exploring opportunities to develop cooperation between the Mongolian Leather Industry Association and the Czech Footwear and Leather Association, as well as to establish direct contacts between manufacturers from the two countries.
ČOKA is a national employers’ and professional association representing the footwear and leather manufacturing and trade sectors in the Czech Republic. It brings together approximately 60 companies and institutions engaged in manufacturing, trade, research, testing, certification and education.
The Association represents the interests of its members and supports their participation in domestic and international trade fairs, the establishment of international business contacts, and the implementation of professional training, research and innovation projects. ČOKA is a member of the European Footwear Confederation (CEC) and the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC).
