CZECH MONGOLIST PARTICIPATES IN THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF MONGOLISTS
The 13th International Congress of Mongolists, entitled “Mongolian Studies: Tradition and Modernity,” is taking place in Ulaanbaatar from 10 to 13 August 2026 under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.
More than 570 scholars and researchers from 30 countries are participating in the Congress to present new research on Mongolian language, history, culture and heritage, and to strengthen international academic cooperation in Mongolian Studies.
Among the participants is Veronika Kapišovská, Ph.D., a lecturer and scholar in the Mongolian Studies Section at the Institute of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Her participation contributes to strengthening educational, academic and cultural ties between Mongolia and the Czech Republic, while fostering closer cooperation between researchers and institutions in the two countries.
