KHUVSGUL LAKE

The largest freshwater lake in Mongolia and one of the seventeen oldest lakes of the world, being more than 2000 years old. It is surrounded by majestic high mountains and the highest peak reaches 3492 metres.

Tourist camps are located close to the lake and offer to stay in Mongolian national dwelling Ger and its craftsmanship is listed in the UNESCO’s intangible heritage.
