STUDENTS FROM THE “MON SCHOOL” EDUCATIONAL CENTRE IN PARDUBICE VISIT PRAGUE ZOO
On 28 October 2026, the Embassy of Mongolia in the Czech Republic organized an event introducing the Embassy’s activities to students of the “Mon School” Educational Centre in Pardubice. As part of the programme, the participants were invited to visit Prague Zoo. The event was attended by 33 children aged 6–14, accompanied by 6 teachers and 3 parent representatives.
During their visit to Prague Zoo, the children had the opportunity to see and learn more about the Takhi (Przewalski’s horse), an integral part of Mongolia’s natural and cultural heritage. They also visited the Mongolian ger located within the zoo. In addition, the participants received information about the long-standing cooperation between Prague Zoo and Mongolia, particularly the efforts undertaken to conserve the Takhi and reintroduce it to its native habitat in Mongolia.
