Ambassador B. Bolormaa met with Mr Radek Jakubský, Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, to discuss ways to expand trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and the Czech Republic. The discussions focused particularly on promoting Mongolian wool and cashmere products in the Czech and wider Central European markets and strengthening business ties between the two countries.

Ambassador B.Bolormaa expressed her appreciation for the Czech Chamber of Commerce’s long-standing tradition of bringing Czech business delegations to Mongolia and organising annual business forums, noting their important contribution to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The upcoming business forum is scheduled to take place in Ulaanbaatar from 20 to 26 September. Representatives from Czech companies operating in the mining, logistics, healthcare, automotive, food production, and human resources sectors are expected to participate.

The two sides agreed to cooperate in arranging a visit by a Mongolian business delegation to the Czech Republic and organising a bilateral business forum. As an immediate priority, they will work together to facilitate the participation of Mongolian wool and cashmere companies in the STYL International Fashion Fair, to be held in Brno in February 2027, and to explore opportunities to include the sector in the PROPED programme administered by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They also discussed potential cooperation in specific areas, including geology and mining, as well as opportunities for Mongolia to draw on the Czech Republic’s experience in developing big data centres.
