MONGOLIAN AMBASSADOR VISITS CZECH OMNIPOL GROUP

On 16 June 2026, Ambassador B. Bolormaa visited OMNIPOL Group, a Czech company operating in the fields of defence, security, civil aviation, technology and equipment, and met with Mr. Josef Piga, Senior Advisor of the Group, and Mr. Michal Jágrik, Commercial Director.

During the meeting, representatives of OMNIPOL Group introduced the company’s activities and ongoing projects and programmes, and exchanged views on opportunities to expand cooperation with Mongolia in the supply of civil and defence-related equipment and technologies. The two sides also discussed the possibility of the company’s participation in the modernisation project of Gurvansaikhan Airport in Umnugovi Province.

Established in 1934, OMNIPOL Group is a well-known international company with more than 4,000 employees and operations in 115 countries worldwide. The Group manufactures civil and military aircraft, radar systems, communications equipment and armoured vehicles, and also undertakes airport modernisation and construction projects.
