AMBASSADOR GANSUKH DAMDIN MEETS WITH HEADS OF CZECH STATE AND GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS
Last week, on the occasion of the New Year, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Mr. Miloš Vystrčil, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Tomio Okamura, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Petr Macinka, on separate occasions, received the Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Czech Republic and briefed them on the country’s domestic and foreign policies as well as key objectives.

During his meeting with Senate President Miloš Vystrčil, Ambassador D.Gansukh conveyed the greetings of the Chairman of the State Great Khural, Mr. N.Uchral, and expressed appreciation for the continued attention and strong support extended to inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.


The Ambassador also conveyed the greetings of the Chairman of the State Great Khural, Mr. N.Uchral, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. B.Battsetseg, to the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, congratulated them on their recent appointments, and held friendly conversations. He noted that many milestone events had taken place in Mongolian–Czech relations and cooperation throughout 2025. In this context, he emphasized that, within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the President of Mongolia paid a state visit to the Czech Republic and that bilateral relations have been elevated to a Comprehensive Partnership. He also expressed Mongolia’s commitment to further expanding and deepening the bilateral cooperation in the spirit of the new partnership.
He further highlighted the active development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries and requested Mr. T.Okamura’s support in establishing a Czech–Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group in the newly formed Chamber of Deputies.
